We meet at Roma San Pietro train station from where we will reach the Vatican visiting St Peter Square (no entrance to the basilica).
Next we will head to the Castel Sant'Angelo, a papal fortress built as a mausoleum for the emperor Hadrian then the massive Palace of Justice, which is the seat of the Supreme Court of Italy, and from there we will cross the Tiber River.The next stop on the tour will be the enchanting Piazza Navona, a great example of Roman Baroque, built on the ruins of the ancient arena of Domitian.
Reaching Piazza della Rotonda we will see the Pantheon, taking in the beauty of the exterior of this unique ancient Roman temple.
The next stop is the Trevi Fountain, famous for films such as La Dolce Vita and Roman Holiday.
Then we will arrive at Piazza Venezia where you can admire the stunning Vittoriano, the largest national monument in Europe built in honour of Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a unified Italy.
Travelling down the famous Via dei Fori Imperiali we will see the Roman Forum  where the Roman civilization was born and developed.
